Damian Bryan Hughes: 1970 - 1988[]

Damian Bryan Hughes was the middle child and second-born son of Spontaneous and Belle who were two popular superheroes of the 1950s-1970s. Their secret identities were bankers in Atlanta. His super strength came as little surprise to the couple, as Damian's father, Robert Hughes, was the younger brother of Xavier Hughes, the man who would become the famed war hero Armageddon in WWII, and who possessed explosive powers of combustion. His family who encouraged him to take pride in his abilities, despite the words and reactions of a society who widely feared Supers. Damian adored his uncle and looked up to him, and it was a great blow to his family when Xavier Hughes was killed on Battle of Dark To, sacrificing himself to save his legion. Damian, then 11, mourned his uncle and remembered him with pride. Soon enough the NSA rose up and the veteran supers of the war were coming back as celebrated heroes, many of them going on to act as America’s first ever superheroes. Damian knew instantly that this was what he was meant to be; if his uncle Xavier didn’t get to live to be a superhero, then Damian would do so for him, and he vowed to be the very best superhero ever. Spontaneous and Belle raised and train their kids to be great superheroes. Not as naturally agile as his father, Damian and his father Spontaneous worked together to adapt Damian's powerhouse fighting style so he could more easily dodge and move around enemy blows and weaponry. Spontaneous and Belle got divorced. Belle retired from superheroics and married Doctor Codex. Even though he lost his father he gained three new siblings one of whom became his best friend Leonard Black.

However, his parents insisted that Damian go through college before he pursued this. Begrudgingly, Damian did, attending a local college in Washington and playing football during his time there, but as soon as he graduated, he headed straight to California to pursue his dream. With his status of being Armageddon’s nephew, his good looks, and his impressive abilities, he was quickly processed and put through training. Soon enough, he’d commissioned a suit from Erza and had chosen the name Mr. Incredible for himself. Damian was a little late into the Modetso scene when he joined the NSA and many other heroes had established themselves. But Damian wasn’t worried, and soon enough he was climbing the ranks to the level of top-tier hero. He was very popular right off the bat and befriended many supers, particularly striking a close bond with his Leonard now known as Frozone.

Damian and Leonard got along naturally, and Damian found himself becoming closer to Luke than he’d ever been to anyone, enough that the two young men moved into an apartment together for a year. Then he met Elastic Woman. Shannon Smith was the girl of Damian's dreams; no one else had ever had him so quickly infatuated. He found himself showing off in her presence, hoping to impress her. However, his moves to do so wound up stealing limelight that should have belonged to Elastic Woman, and she reacted with hostility. Eventually, Damian confessed to Shannon that he only wanted her to notice him, not to take public attention from her, and she softened to him. The two became friends, and soon after, began dating. Damian fell deeply in love with her and moved into her apartment. Only months later, he proposed to her, and a year later, the two were married.

Mister Incredible: 1988 - 1994[]

While driving to his wedding with Elastic Woman, Mr. Incredible experiences an otherwise routine day of fighting crime and saving lives, including rescuing a man from falling off a building and stopping a train from falling off its track (though, Surge says that it's against the law for supers to marry and have kids). In addition to confronting an infamous member of his rogues' gallery Bomb Voyage, Mr. Incredible must deal with the intrusion of his self-proclaimed #1 fan, Bobby Vine, who tries to impose himself as Mr. Incredible's sidekick, "IncrediBoy". Constantly frustrated by his presence, Mr. Incredible coldly rebuffs him each and every time he appears.

Damian Bryan Hughes: 1994 - 2002[]

Damian was at that time the most popular super in the country, America’s golden boy, and he was happier than he’d ever been. After he gets married, Mr. Incredible faces a series of lawsuits: the man he saved from falling off a building was trying to commit suicide and is suing for the hindrance of such, while the victims of the train rescue are suing for the injuries they have sustained (even though they might have died had it not been for Mr. Incredible's intervention). These lawsuits have inspired people across the world to sue Supers everywhere for the "annoyances" they create while fighting crime. With the suits costing the government millions of dollars, the government sponsors a witness protection program in exchange for the promise to stop all superhero work, thus seeing the end of the Golden Age of Super.

Mr. Incredible: 2014 - 2015 []

Eventually, George Parr, Damian's miserable boss, suspects Damian is helping clients and reprimands him. During the lecture, Damian notices a person being mugged in the street. Mr. Parr stops Damian from going to the victim's aid, threatening to fire him, and the mugger escapes. When Parr smugly begins lecturing again, Damian, furious with his boss's insensitivity, angrily grabs him by the neck and accidentally hurls him through several office walls. Parr is hospitalized and Damian is fired. Normally the government agent and Damian's old friend Nate Danger would cover such an incident by paying to keep the company quiet, relocating his family, and erasing memories of the incident, but since it is costing too much money for the government, Danger says that he can no longer help Damian, but quickly relents and offers to bail him out one last time, an offer that Damian refuses since his family has adjusted to their current life. While Damian is trying to figure out how to tell Shannon about his accident, Mirage, a mysterious agent, contacts him and offers highly-paid work: subduing a renegade robot, the Omnidroid 08, on Nomanisan, an uncharted volcanic island. Damian takes the assignment, telling Shannon that he is attending a conference out of town, hiding both the loss of his job and the renewal of hero work. Damian defeats the Omnidroid, and then has dinner with Mirage before coming home. With the hefty reward, Damian begins to lead a much happier life with his family. However, he has slightly damaged his supersuit from the battle and takes it to its designer, the flamboyant Erza Method, for repairs. Ezra also offers to create a brand-new suit for him and he accepts but, unbeknownst to him, she also creates suits for his entire family.

He is summoned to the inland for his second mission two months later, this time wearing the new red suit Erza made for him instead of his old, blue one. When Damian returns to the island, he discovers that Mirage was working with Bobby Vine, having become a psychotic and incredibly wealthy weapons designer named Surge. Embittered by constant rejection from his former idol, he made a fortune in high-tech weapons technology. He then invented the Omnidroid, a robot designed to kill Supers. When he first reached the island, he was ambushed and defeated by an improved version of the Omnidroid 08 prototype robot, Omnidroid v.X9. While Surge is on a monologue bragging about all he has accomplished, Mr. Incredible throws a log at him. Surge dodges the log, then proceeds to immobilize Mr. Incredible with his zero-point energy ray, which inhibits all movement and the ability to talk, freezing Mr. Incredible where he is. He uses his zero-point energy ray to throw Mr. Incredible around, asking if he is good enough now for Mr. Incredible, proceeding to mock him by saying "Who's super now?" Eventually, he accidentally throws Mr. Incredible over a waterfall, which the superhero survives by diving in.

Surge sends a bomb down the waterfall, equipped with a probe to scan for any signs of life after the bomb goes off. Mr. Incredible discovers the bomb, and takes cover from it in an underwater cave. He discovers the remains of the former superhero Gazerbeam, finding that Gazerbeam had carved the word "kronos" into the cave wall with his dying breath. He uses Gazerbeam's remains to hide from the probe, tricking it into thinking that he is dead. The probe is tricked, causing Surge to believe that Mr. Incredible is dead.

Mr. Incredible later comes out of the water to infiltrate Surge's base. After successfully sneaking in, he is able to make his way to a huge room with a lava wall in which he had dinner with Mirage after he defeated the Omnidroid 08. He goes through a hole in the wall to make his way to Surge's computer room. In it, he types in the password "kronos" that he had discovered in the cave. He discovers Surge's plan in the computer, in which he had tested the Omnidroids against various supers to see how powerful the robots were. If the robot was defeated, then he improved the Omnidroid using the data, along with designing it so it would kill that super that previously won. Mr. Incredible went through the database of who had won each fight, which also showed that no super had ever survived the second fight. As he is leaving the room upon also discovering Operation Kronos, Elastic Woman activates a homing device on Mr. Incredible's supersuit in order to discover where he is, causing Mr. Incredible to be caught.

In the containment unit that Mr. Incredible is held in (a room in which a prisoner is held in an energy field, which is powered by zero-point energy, by mineballs, thus preventing the prisoner from being able to escape unless they are released), Surge interrogates Mr. Incredible to find out who Mr. Incredible had summoned with the homing device. Surge then finds out that Mr. Incredible knows who it is upon playing a transmission from a plane that had requested permission to land on the island. The pilot of the plane was Elastic Woman, who had borrowed a jet to find her husband. Surge responds by sending missiles to destroy the plane. Elastic Woman reports the missiles to the island and asks for them to be disengaged, revealing that there are children aboard the plane, which are Maxine and Jasper, who had stowed away on the plane wearing their own supersuits upon finding a sitter for Tommy. The transmissions are played in the containment unit in which Damian is held. Upon the missiles making contact with the plane, Mirage reports to Surge that the plane had been destroyed. Mr. Incredible then grabs Mirage and threatens to kill her if he is not releases. Mr. Incredible releases Mirage, and Surge calls him out for being weak.

Elastic Woman, Maxine, and Jasper are revealed to have all survived the crash. Elastic Woman is able to sneak her way into Surge's base. She finds the rocket with the Omnidroid 10 on it as she sneaks through the base. On her way through the base, she discovers a control room with guards in it. She is able to find which room Mr. Incredible is being held prisoner in. On her way to the room, she hears an alert, which was triggered by Maxine and Jasper, who were discovered upon being forced to leave the cave they were hiding in, which turned out to really be a vent to release the flames from the underground rocket launch chamber once the rocket was launched.

Elastic Woman finds Mr. Incredible, who just seconds previously had been released by Mirage to tell him that his family had survived the crash. He is hugging Mirage upon Elastic Woman showing up, in which he is forced to explain that he had not been cheating on his wife, and that Mirage was helping him escape. Mirage tells them that their kids may have been the ones who triggered the alarm, causing Elastic Woman and Mr. Incredible to start running to find their children to help them.

Maxine and Jasper are shown to outwit the guards and use their powers to escape them. The kids run into their parents as they run through the jungle together. The family works together to quickly defeat the guards, but at that point Surge shows up and immobilizes the whole family. Upon discovering that the group of supers he has just captured is wearing matching super suits, Surge is surprised to discover that Mr. Incredible had married Elastic Woman. He then sees Jasper and Maxine and finds that Mr. Incredible and Elastic Woman had children together, declaring that he had hit the jackpot for capturing a whole family of superheroes.

Surge imprisons the whole family in his containment unit to prevent them from interfering with his plan. In the unit, Surge plays news broadcasts of the Omnidroid attacking the city for the Incredibles to watch. Surge then explains his plan: to save Modetso from his own Omnidroid and thereby become a hero. He intends to sell his gadgets to the world once his career is finished, making everyone super and the possession of superpowers no longer unique, for "when everyone is super, no one will be." He then leaves the Incredibles in an energy prison. As Mr. Incredible apologizes to his family, telling how lousy of a father he had been, Jasper uses her force field to break her magnetic bonds, and rolls over to the control panel so that she can free her family also, remarking how Mr. Incredible had made excellent progress today. The family runs through the base, trying to find a way to escape the island so they can make it to the city to stop Surge. They find a rocket and, with the password given to them by Mirage, use it to fly a minivan to the city so that they can defeat the Omnidroid 10.

In Modesto, Surge attempts to stop the Omnidroid's destructive rampage, but the robot figures out the nature of his remote control and knocks him unconscious. The Incredibles and Frozone fight the robot. Mr. Incredible realizes that the only way to defeat the Omnidroid is on the inside like he did the last time and has his family use the remote for one of the arms to activate it, allowing him to throw it at the robot, defeating it. The town applauds them for their achievements; the possibility of superheroes coming out of hiding is mentioned. Surge wakes up to find that the Incredibles have stolen his glory.

Nate Danger drives the Incredibles home, telling them that the United States government has frozen Surge's assets and put a warrant out for his arrest. Shannon listens to the messages left by Kari and learn that a replacement came over, so they hurry to their house, only to find that Surge is there. He immobilizes the Incredibles to prevent them from doing anything else. Surge reveals that he is kidnapping Tommy, intending to raise him as his sidekick, in revenge for his future being taken away. As Surge attempts to fly up to his jet using his rocket boots, Tommy suddenly reveals his super powers by transforming into fire, metal, and then an imp-like monster. Surge drops Tommy, who is caught by Elastic Woman, and attempts to flee, declaring that he will make another attempt to abduct Tommy in the future. Damian, having had enough of Surge, hurls the family car into the jet; Surge is knocked into the turbine and his cape is caught in the engine and pulls him in. Jasper then protects the family from the raining flames and debris as the jet explodes, much to the amazement of their young neighbor.

Three months later, the family is much happier; even Damian is content with their civilian life. Maxine is running in a track meet; he carefully controls his use of super-speed and finishes in second place. Jasper, who formerly felt alienated to the point of using his hair to hide his face and turning invisible when his crush walked by, is found with his hair pulled back and successfully asking Tina Rydinger for a date to the movies. As they walk out of the sports complex, a new villain, The Underminer, rises from the ground and declares "war on peace and happiness.” The family members, including Tommy, put on their masks and prepare to fight.

Damian Hughes: 2015 - 2015[]

After having battled The Underminer, Damian and his family are arrested. They are informed by Nate Danger that the Superhero Relocation program has been shut down. The Hughes family is forced to live in a motel since their home was destroyed battling Surge. Damian discovers Jasper was seen in her super-suit by Tina Rydinger, with Damian telling Danger to erase that from Tina's mind.

Leonard tells Damian and Shannon about William Endeavor, a superhero fan interested in bringing the superheroes back. They meet with the tycoon who decides that Elastic Woman is their best bet as she is the least destructive.

While Shannon is off fighting crime, Damian is left to take care of the children. But Tommy's powers going out of controlled and has to learn how to deal with them. He becomes so exhausted from chasing Thomas around the house that he takes the baby to see Erza. He also must deal with Jasper's depression towards Rydinger and later his anger towards him over having Nate Danger wiping Rydinger's memory of him, and how he cannot figure out new math and help with Maxine's homework.

He leaves Tommy with Erza while he goes home and apologizes to Jasper for getting him erased from Tina's mind and confesses that he tried to be a good dad he regrets his mistake and wishes to be better. Jasper comforts him and tells him he's not "good" but "super", then Damian falls asleep while Jasper hugs him again. The next day he wakes up feeling much better and goes and picks up Tommy and learns that the two have bonded. Meanwhile, he helps with the Math, and helps Jasper a little.

Mr. Incredible: 2015 - Present[]

Later, he gets a call from Evelyn Endeavor telling him that Shannon is in trouble. He leaves the kids with Luke and goes to find Shannon but it's a trap. A mind-controlled Elastic Woman forces the mind-controlling goggles onto Damian which results in him being under the Screenslaver control as well. He, along with Shannon and Leonard, are later rescued by the kids and the other new supers. Together they stop the Venture's boat from crashing into New York. He was there at the signing of make superhumans legal. Rejoicing that he can be a superhero. After this, they try to bring Jasper and Tina to the movies, but the family leaves Tina alone once they find some gunmen fighting with the police.

Appearance[]

According to official sources, currently Damian Hughes is 6'0" (182 cm) in height and is 190 pounds (158 kg) in weight.

Damian was 25 years old and slim-waisted. In the present day, a now 40 year-old Damian had become somewhat obese, gaining a large gut. He goes on an intense training regime, and eventually succeeds in losing a lot of the weight so as to resume his superheroics before leaving to go to Nomanisan Island. He has short, blond hair (which has receded in his middle-age) and blue eyes and he is Caucasian. He has very muscular arms and legs and a broad chest.

Personality[]

Damian is often depicted with a gruff, tough exterior and can appear grim, but is actually very kind-hearted and often well liked among other heroes. Stubborn and sometimes hot tempered, although that often turns out to make him very determined, enthusiastic and brave, rarely, if ever, gives up a fight. Despite his tough and gruff attitude and personality, he has at times, although seldom, shown to lightly tear up during extremely touching moments, proving he does have a sensitive side beneath his hard disposition. He is also often sarcastic, quick to throw a wise crack.

Powers, Abilities, Equipment, and Weakness[]

Powers[]

Superpowered Physiology (Superhero): Damian is a human who inherited from his parents something known as the S-Gene, which in turn micromutates his to allow his to have superpowers.

  • Superhuman Strength: Damian's primary superhuman power is his great physical strength. This is due to the great density and resilient biological efficiency of his muscular and skeletal system as it is far greater than any human. Initially, he was only strong enough to rate as a class 5. Over the years, through rigorous training and further mutation, his strength dramatically increased to the point where he rated as a class 85 (the rating system is only for comparing characters with each other, and should not remotely be taken literally). His latest rating put him in class 100. His feats include successfully holding back a giant rocket from jettisoning from Earth, lifting an oil rig, and stopping a multiple story building (weighing roughly 30,000 tons) from falling over and lifting it back into place. Other feats include holding bridges main cables together for an extended period of time (which support about 10,000 tons). Damian was also able to overpower a pile driver. Damian has consistently been portrayed as a rival to the Bulldozer.
    • Enhanced Athleticism: Even though not as flexible as his daughter & wife, Mr. Incredible's agility, balance, and bodily coordination are enhanced to levels that are beyond the natural physical limits of the finest human athlete. While training with his father, Robert made a joke about how he has the agility of a great ape combined with the acrobatic prowess of an Olympic level gymnast. He can walk a tightrope or a slack rope as easily as most people can walk on a sidewalk. He can also walk on his hands for many hours, or perform a complicated sequence of gymnastic stunts such as flips, rolls, and springs. He can easily match or surpass any Olympic record in gymnastics. This due to him having extraordinarily limber and his tendons and connective tissues are twice as elastic as the average human being is despite his physical strength.
    • Enhanced Senses: Damian possesses enhanced acute senses enabling him to see and hear distant objects more clearly than a normal human, and identify and track someone purely by scent over open terrain and his hands and feet are sensitive enough to detect electronic signals (from bombs, listening devices, etc.) through solid walls and floors. He also possesses night vision that also allows him to see even in near-total darkness and when asked by Nate Danger, he was able to identify that it was the real Tommy when he came back to life all by scent.
    • Enhanced Speed (Reflexes): Damian can run and move at speeds that are slightly beyond the natural physical limits of the finest human athlete, despite his abnormal size. He can run at speeds up to 40 mph for short distances, particularly if he runs on all fours. It also allows Damian to attack opponents before they can react and pull their trigger fingers and keep up with opponents who can move at low-level superhuman speeds. Mr. Incredible's reflexes are similarly enhanced and are on levels beyond the natural physical limits of the finest human athlete. His training with his father Spontaneous, as well as his experience battling enemies, has granted him the reaction time to evade gunfire. He can react at low-level superhuman speeds, even catching smaller missile mid-air with his hands. His reflexes are a partial reason why the Mr. Incredible is able to be so agile and fast, despite the abnormal bulk size.
  • Invulnerability: All of Damian's internal organs and soft tissues have been enhanced as an adaption to his new physical size and body composition. This renders Mr. Incredible body highly resistant to physical injury. Mr. Incredible's body can resist extremely powerful impact forces, such as the force of Bulldozer's punches (Bulldozer is far above class 100, which makes his punches devastatingly strong). His skin/body can withstand extreme environments including temperature extremes from -75 to 800 degrees Fahrenheit. His skin can also withstand at least 15 pounds of explosives per square inch and deep crushing pressures of the ocean floor. Mr. Incredible's skin is so hard it is practically impervious to being punctured or breached by anything from blades to multiple high caliber bullets. Mr. Incredible's enhanced physique has even proven durable enough to withstand extreme blunt-force impacts from the Bulldozer's fists and Hypershock's hammer.
    • Superhuman Stamina: Mr. Incredible advanced musculature produces considerably less fatigue toxins during physical activity than the musculature of a normal human. At his peak, he can exert himself for about 24 hours before the build up of fatigue toxins in his blood begins to affect him. Damian possesses a highly advanced immune system, which is a partial reason why he is able to recover from mild ailments, among other forms of sickness, within a few hours. Hank also possesses a high immunity to foreign chemicals, such as tranquilizers and certain types of poisons.
    • Enhanced Lung Capacity: Mr. Incredible's lungs are of greater volume and efficiency than a normal man's, enabling him to hold his breath underwater for up to 9 minutes.
    • Regenerative Healing Factor: Mr. Incredible's metabolism enables him to repair mild to moderate injuries much faster than a normal human. For instance, he can recover from minor ailments, such as a severe cold or fever within a seconds. Even in the event arises where he manage somehow get broken bones it was theorized they would heal within a few hours, whereas normal humans might take many weeks or even months. However, his healing abilities have increased to the point where he recovers from mild to moderate injuries within the span of a few minutes specifically half -an-hour.
Former Powers
Powers

Infection Induced Powers: When he gets a cold and inadvertently causing his own natural superpowers to be updated to their maximum potential.

  • Large Size: His physical size is greater than is achievable by man. He may be unnaturally large than humans.
    • Absolute Strength: Mr. Incredible is sometimes listed to possess virtually limitless superhuman strength, and other times simply as class 90 or 100. Using this strength he was able to knock out the Nobody when he was in his strongest form with three blows.
    • Invulnerability: Mr. Incredible is virtually invulnerable to all forms of physical injury.

Weaknesses[]

Sickness: It still a disease and when contacted it has similar properties to the flu such as vomiting, body temperature, snot, and soar throat.

Abilities[]

N.S.A Training: He has been rigorously trained to superhuman conditioning, most notably in the areas of speed, strength, agility, reflexes, intelligence, instincts and stamina. He is a highly trained martial artist, spy, and gymnast, making him a valuable asset on the battlefield. He is also a master of disguise and research/espionage. He utilizes all of his talents and much more when working for N.S.A as a field commander/special-ops agent.

  • Vehicle Intuition: He is capable of maneuvering large vehicles such as his personal car.
  • Weapon Proficiency: Mr. Incredible is capable of wielding multiple types of weapons expertly.
  • Peak Human Stealth: Mr. Incredible possesses incredibly extensive knowledge and skill in many types and ways of stealth tactics, enabling him to easily slip in and out of areas undetected.
  • Surveillance Intuition: Damian possesses great knowledge and skills of surveillance, able to spy on and map out areas with ease and gather Intel.
  • Martial Arts Intuition: Hughes is one of the best fighters in the world, having been trained from a young age by his uncle and N.S. A in his later life as a top operative.

Equipment[]

Incredible Suit: Initially, he wore a tight, two-piece suit that was black and sky blue and with a large lowercase "i" with a red dot in the middle with blue gloves and boots, and a black mask. This suit tore, and Erza Method designed a new suit: a tight one-piece red suit with an orange "belt", black boots, gloves, and mask, a black crutch, and an insignia of a yellow lowercase "i" in a black circle with a yellow edge. This suit, and his family's, are temperature-proof, explosion-proof, bulletproof, and rip-proof; and came with a tracking device.

  • Defense Augmentation: The user's physical durability (ability to resist damage) is extremely high, allowing him to take numerous blows of internal or external assaults before succumbing to the effects. The user can withstand bullets, grenades and low to medium explosives, survive falling from the top of tall buildings and building collapse, withstand beatings from superhumans and take getting beaten with steel rods and bars.
  • Tracking: The user can even provide others with a "GPS" navigation to help their allies find the way. With this power the user can be become a living command center that gives out movements to everyone.

Incredibile: Incredibile is Mr. Incredible's primary mode of transportation in the beginning of his career. It is also known as the Incredimobile, the Incredicar, or the Incredobile. After thinking it was destroyed he discovers a rich collector had acquired it. Maxine later steals it to save the day and returns it to his father. It now takes the form of a red station wagon, somewhat similar to Shannon's station wagon. While originally used to drive to the movie theatre, when a car chase occured past them, Jasper quickly pushes Tina Rydinger out, who was going to the theatre with her, and meekly tells him to get their refreshments (even providing some money) and save their seats, thus preventing him from learning Jasper's superhero identity a second time. The family then dons their superhero masks and Damian pushes a red button, which transforms the wagon into the form very similar to the Incredimobile, albeit with enough room for the whole family. This car also has the Incredimobile's rocket booster which is used to catch up to the car chase.

  • Remote Control
  • Voice control (Mr. Incredible, Frozone, Jasper, Maxine, & Tommy)
  • Driving modes: Manual, Auto, Pursuit, Hover, Hydro, & Stealth
  • A jet turbine on its rear that turns into a spare tire while in "stealth mode"
  • Built-in GPS system that can help Damian track down enemies, a mechanism that can change him into his Supersuit
  • A red "Boost" button that allows the car to go faster
  • Ejector passenger & driver seat
  • A pair of rocket launchers that extends from the sides

Weaknesses[]

Force: Although Mr. Incredible has near-invulnerability, things that produce a force similar to his own strength or even greater can still cause him pain. This is shown when he is fought against individuals such as Brick or Bulldozer.

Power Instability: Mr. Incredible doesn't appear to have any specific superhuman weaknesses, but he is as vulnerable as anyone to hubris from the veneration of his "glory days" and in middle age he has a bad back. It was implied that his superhuman durability was in of itself a weakness, as it would have exposed him when his fingers dented a butcher knife when he accidentally chopped his hand with it, forcing him to act fast and fake an injury, and later allowed him to be identified by one of the neighbors, an agent of Zap. His immense strength can also be a huge weakness he often has difficulty controlling, as shown when he constantly breaks or dents objects, such as his car and a small plate. It also became a problem when he threw Parr through five walls, which was much harder than he intended.

Trivia[]

  • Despite his obesity, Damian was still immensely strong, able to break through walls and lift heavy objects (such as his car) with little to no effort.
  • In the Operation Kronos database, Mr. Incredible was given a threat rating of 9.1, the highest rating of any of the supers.
  • He has broken the law when he married Elastic Woman, as when Zap (then a minor one-shot villain who sought revenge) discovered that Mr. Incredible was married to Elastic Woman, and they had a baby, he said "Isn't it illegal for Supers to breed?" It was legal for Supers to marry and have kids.
  • He can do math, but has trouble adjusting to how the teachers "change" it.
